Abba is currently living in Mexico. She is Lead over the Gap year program workers at Radius International. She says, “My work is relatively the same on the weekdays. I am on-call 8am-12pm in case the interns have emergencies/questions regarding childcare. During that time, I also create schedules, prepare for meetings, organize events, review childcare lesson plans, communicate with staff, and work on answering any intern-related questions. Then there are many other little things that make their way into my schedule throughout the day as well, but those are the main things. In the afternoons, I typically have a meeting, work on finishing any administrative work, help the girls with dinner preparation, and lead them in other chore responsibilities.”
Weekends are a sweet time to relax and try to catch up on sleep! I use these days to spend extra time in the Word, clean my apartment, stock up on groceries, and hang out with other staff. On Sundays, I am now attending an English-speaking church across the border with the interns and some of the staff. I am also privileged to be part of a community group in that church that I am able to attend every Thursday night. And then if time allows, I am able to watch CLCC’s livestream church service, which is a joy to worship with the church from 2,300 miles away!”
To destress, she will journal prayers to the Lord in the form of a letter, which helps her sort her thoughts and bring peace to her mind. She also enjoys exercise for clarity of thought
Ways we can bless her:
Gift cards for coffee, she wants to take people out and be able to bless them and treat them, pop-corners, and chocolate covered pomegranates or blueberries.Additionally she loves missionary biographies and learning how they trusted the Lord.
She loves to receive notes, especially from the Sunday school class. It is a sweet reminder of the church family who is supporting her. Welcome home letters, too. These types of notes are really encouraging.

Prayer Requests
-That she would balance all the different aspects of life, like balancing work with relationships.
-That she would trust the Lord when things feel overwhelming.
-That she would be humble and admit weaknesses, since it is Christ’s strength that can shine through those weaknesses. She’s recently been convicted regarding evangelism. Her church goes to a college campus for open air evangelism and so would ask prayer for boldness against the fear of man for any weeks she is able to join them.
-That she would not cave to anxiety with unknowns for the next few years. She gets to be dependent on Him and wants the unknown to push her to trust Him.
-That she would trust God when she misses her friends and family and church.
